Ephs at the International Conference on Atomic Physics (ICAP)

Professors Majumder and Doret, postdoc John Lacy, and five of the current summer research students attended the biennial International Conference on Atomic Physics (ICAP) in Toronto, CA in July.  The group enjoyed a wonderful week of invited talks by leaders in the field from all over the world, interacted with a large community of 500 students, postdocs and senior scientists, and had the opportunity to present their work at one of several poster sessions.  The Williams dinner photo includes Abby Kinney ’24 and Charles Yang ’24 (working in the Majumder lab this summer), Sonya Dutton ’24 and Timmy Chang ’23 (working in the Doret lab this summer), Benny Wang ’22 (thesis student in Kealhofer lab; heading to Stanford this fall), as well as Paige Robichaud ’21 (now at Harvard), and Ashay Patel ’18 (now at Caltech).
