The Nobel Prize in Physics 2023 was awarded to the discovery and application of attosecond pulses, as it allowed to measure processes at the natural time scale of the electron. I will present some of the results from our group highlighting access and applications of new time scales (zepto seconds) as well as new detection methodologies for three-dimensional measurements of the electron from atoms to nanoparticles. Throughout the talk, time allowing, I will mention some of our laser developments that make all these measurements possible.
